We warmly welcom Russ Heissner for a talk about his adventure in brewing as well as his recent sustainability efforts in the industry.

In 1986, Russ Heissner came to Boston to be the first head brewer at Harpoon. In 2015, a new brewing adventure began in Weymouth, MA when Russ founded Barrel House Z. In 2021, Russ founded Zenso, which is enabling sustainable solutions for alcoholic beverages through biotechnology and recycling/"up-valuing" of brewery spent grains.
