Join us for a fun afternoon of creating your own Cutting Board! You’ll first learn how to use a pyrography pen, then you'll be taught how to transfer and then burn an image into the wood to create your own Cutting Board. Multiple designs will be available to choose from or you can create your very own! (Not all design choices are shown here.)

Alexis is a singer and multi-instrumentalist based in Massachusetts. Over her 20 years as a musician she has studied a diverse range of styles and instruments, and has done everything from session bass playing and backing vocals for UMass Lowell's Seven Six Records to performing at Ahoy! Tavern Club in the Brazilian city Blumenau. Although teaching is constantly exposing her to new music, Alexis feels most at home with her guitar, singing rock and blues.

Join Jade, our native Chinese instructor, and learn about the fundamentals of Chinese dumplings and wontons. We’ll pinch, squeeze, and pleat our way to a succulent and satisfying meal. We will make traditional boiled dumplings served with soy dipping sauces, pan-fry others for crispy potstickers, and prepare shrimp wontons in an authentic wonton soup.
